On 26th November 2019 the Newshub.lk Nugegoda has been searched by Sri Lankan police based on a false complaint.

A team of around 10 police officers including two women police constables from the Mirihana police station, arrived at Newshub’s premises last morning (26), demanding that they were in possession of a search warrant.
