Police have obstructed the Journalist Shanmugam Thavaseelan on 29th January 2022, while he was going to take a photo of the Mankulam court name board for a reporting purpose. Police have taken his identity card and told him that they will pass it to the judicial officers. Police officials have also photographed him with their mobile phones. He has made a complaint about the incident to the Human Rights Commission Sri Lanka.News Source Link
