Digital Journalist Buwanka Perera was among the group of people who were arrested during a protest held on 4th May 2022 near the Parliament premises. Police claimed that the protesters arrested were violating the parliamentary privileges of the MPs. They were granted bail on the same day by the Kaduwela Magistrate court.News Source Link
