Daily Mirror Journalist Jamila Husian was verbally threatened by some protestors who were protesting in front of the residence of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Dhammika Perera, when she was covering the protest on 12th june 2022. A group of protestors verbally threatened her and later chanted slogans against her on the speakers. She tried to calm and explain what she was doing to the protestors, but the protestors forced her to leave the place
