Description

Piyath Nkeshhala and Nuwan Neelamuni, two youth who involved in the anti-government protests were summoned to the Criminal investigation Headquarters of Police and Slave Island Police Station in Colombo on 22nd August 2022. Piyath Nikeshala was produced before the Fort Magistrate and Magistrate ordered to remand him until 26th August 2022. Piyath was charged in connection with forcible entry to the Prime Minister office on 13th July 2022.
