On 28th of May 2018, K Jayakmar who is a local leader of Illankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) party and head of Trade Union in Kilinochchi was summoned to the TID (Terrorist Investigation Department) pertaining a remembrance event with regard to Mullivaikkal killings that he chaired on 18th of May. He was a former LTTE carder before 2009 and was released in 2010 after going through a government rehabilitation program.News Source Link
