On 12th February morning, officers in civil clothes claiming to be from the military visited the residence of poet Ahnaf Jazeem who had been previously arrested under Prevention of Terrorism (PTA) and currently granted bail. The officers have told Ahnaf that they have been monitoring him as they do with the other PTA suspects. Ahnaf’s lawyer Jayasekera tweeted “this is a violation of Ahnaf's personal liberty and individual freedom and this is also contempt of court.
