Description
Police officers attached to the Nittambuwa police station have arrested Arjun Amadoru, a resident in France who was involved in organising a demonstration in Paris in solidarity with an anti-government protest. He was arrested on 20th August 2022 when he came to Sri Lanka to visit his family. An officer of the Nittambuwa police station stated that the suspect was arrested for the violent incidents in Nittambuwa on 9th May 2022. He was produced to the magistrate on 22nd August 2022 and remanded until September 5th.News Source Link
