Terrorism Investiagation in Colombo has summoned the Mannar based Tamil activist V S Sivakaran on 15th August 2022. He was questioned for over four hours. Following the interrogation, Sivakaran stated that “a completely politicized investigation was conducted with the aim of undermining our work by constantly threatening civil society activists.” Sivakaran is the Head of the Tamila National Right to Life Movement. This is the second time that Terrorism Investigaiton Department summoned the Sivakaran.
