The Special Investigation Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on 26th of September was reported to have informed to Fort Magistrate Court in Colombo district that Sri Lanka Navy officer Lt. Commander Galagamage Laksiri, had received death threats from higher officials. He is the witness who had provided information about Chief of Defense Staff Admiral Ravi Wijegunaratne’s involvement in assisting a suspect from the Navy evade arrest, after being implicated in the disappearance of 11 youth.
