Description

The Inter-University Student Federation (IUSF) marched from the university of the Visual Arts and Performing Arts to the World Trade Centre in Colombo on 19th May 2022 demanding resignation of the government. The protesters attempted to enter the Bank of Ceylon Mawatha and marched towards the protest site in Galleface. Police fired tear gas and water to disperse the protestors. The protest was themed with the slogan “Let’s oust the Gota-Ranil conspiracy government – overthrow the system”
