Description

The Colombo Magistrate Court has issued an order to remove all the structures, vehicles and belongings to the protesters who have staged protests opposite to the Temple Trees on 4th May 2022. The Fort Magistrate Manjula Rathnayake had issued this order considering the police request stating that the demonstrators are obstructing the pedestrian using the pavement and inconveniencing the public. Delivering the order magistrate has emphasised the order is not an impediment to peaceful demonstrators carried out in a manner that does not obstruct the pedestrian to using the pavement and the publice using the road.
