On 9th of December, another event was held at the Galleface to remember the fallen protesters during recent anti-government protests in Colombo. A large presence of Police personnel was seen on the site. Police also tried to disrupt the collection point of books and stationary items to provide for children in low income families organized by anti-government activists and finally the book collection point was moved to a different place designated by the Police.
