An interfaith iftar ceremony was organised at the Galle Face on 9th of April. The day coincided with the annual remembrance of the Aragalaya. The Police attempted to prevent, non-Muslims from attending the iftar ceremony, while organisers had already invited people from other religions to participate at the event.
