The Prime MInister and ruling government ministers have discussed the importance in taking actions against company chairpersons at government owned Litro Gas company and the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) for criticising the government at media interviews and press briefings. It was reported that some ministers requested the prime minister to stop the media interviews and press briefings conducted by relevant companies and commissions.In response, PM has stated that he would pay his attention to the matter.
