Description

On 18th May University of Kelniya student union organised a protest against the oppression that have carried against the student activists, misbehave of the government and releasing the President of the Kelaniya Student union, Kelum Mudanayake and student activists Dilshan Harshana. The protest was carried out in front of the University of Kelaniya Riot police came and dispersed the protest using tear gas and water cannons. Also police have arrested a few student activists including Inter University Student Union Convener Wasantha Mudalige and other student activists.
