Description
On 17th February, the NEC announced that Postal voting for the Local Government election wouldbe postponed until a further notice, which was planned to be held from 22nd to 24th of February.
Commissioner General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake stated that Postal Voting was postponed
as the government printer failed to deliver the ballot papers on time and the new dates will be
announced soon.
